La Castellana Bakery: Reviews & Ratings
The energy's chill, the treats are divine, and the prices are reasonable. My partner and I make it a point to swing by at least once a week. We're talking top-notch quality, fresh from the oven. Can't beat the love and care they put into every cake and pastry. This bakery's got soul!
This place is such a gem and is one of the things that makes waltham such a special place to live. In the morning you can smell the bread across the street and it is amazing. I love that the breads are just sweet enough, and price is excellent. One of my favorite things is taking some la castallana rolls and a coffee to the charles river for breakfast. My wife and I will usually buy 30 or so rolls from them at a time and keep them in our freezer to put in the air fryer for breakfast. The staff is very friendly.
Every time I walk by, my mouth waters from the aromas!! The pastries are as tasty as they smell, haven't tried them all, but my favorite so far are the banana muffins, the flan and the sweet bread with the white swirls in it. Staff is super friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in.
I ordered a cake is was delicious, it wasn’t too sweet at all my family and I we enjoyed so much.
Always come here for crema and quajada. Their prepared foods can be a hit or a miss so I would be careful. The tress leches they sell is not my style. Everything else is really good. Pastries are so good, pan dulce is amazingly fresh, and their fresh baked French rolls are delicious. I’ve even gotten their tortillas when I’m in a pinch and they are pretty good as well.
delicious and super, super cheap, there was also fresh horchata/tacos (I think?)/and some other hot stuff at 7AM. not sure if they do coffee but it’d be a great addition if they don’t. Regardless this place is awesome. I filled a bag with mostly randomly picked breads/sweets for 5 bucks.
Amazing Customer Service, the girls on front are helpful and nice. The bread and pastries are fresh and tasty. I definitely recommend this Bakery as the best in Waltham.
Perfect local bakery with home made vibes! Staff is super nice and the breads are amazing! Also, just want to share that I literally spent under $2 on my order. Recommend to anyone!
